UPDATE: Exeter man hiking Appalachian Trail documents journey

Today, Adam Crosier will step out into a world that is familiar yet altogether foreign.
Crosier of Exeter Township is starting his attempt to walk the entire length of the Appalachian Trail — 2,175 miles from Georgia to Maine.
He will begin this morning on Springer Mountain on terrain he’s never walked before hoping to reach Maine by mid-September.
